Is it safe to replace a Fish Tank filter?
I really need to replace my filter! Right now its been used for about a month and Im pretty sure theres some beneficial bacteria on it. But its not even a Fish Filter. Its one that was used in a turtle tank a long time ago. What I want to do is replace it with a sponge filter, but how? I was thinking of just squeezing out the filter into the water before starting my new one. Any ideas?
There is bacteria in the gravel. Just change the filter.
